Beach Ball Keep-Up

Supplies:

  • 1–2 large beach balls (or balloons if indoors)

  • Open space (hall, court, or field)

Steps:

  1. Gather the children in a circle or spread them around the play area.

  2. Toss a beach ball into the air and explain that the goal is to keep the ball in the air for as long as possible.

  3. Players can use their hands, arms, heads, or knees — but no catching or holding!

  4. Count aloud how many hits the group can get before the ball touches the ground.

  5. If the ball falls, start again and try to beat your previous record!

  6. For older groups, add a second ball or create teams to see who can keep it up the longest.
