Bead Bracelet Making

Supplies Needed:

1. Elastic Cord or Thread

2. Beads of Various Sizes and Colors

3. Scissors

4. Glue (Optional)

Instructions:

1. Measure the Wrist: Use the elastic cord to measure around the wrist of the person who will wear the bracelet. Add an extra inch to allow for the beads and knotting.

2. Cut the Cord: Use the scissors to cut the cord according to the measurement.

3. String the Beads: Begin stringing beads onto the cord. Encourage creativity! Mix colors, sizes, and patterns as desired.

4. Check the Size: Periodically wrap the bracelet-in-progress around the wrist to check the size. Remember to leave enough space for the knot.

5. Tie the Bracelet: Once you are satisfied with the design, carefully tie a knot (or a double knot for extra security) at the ends of the cord. Make sure the knot is tight and secure.

6. Secure the Knot: If you want to ensure the knot won't come undone, add a small dab of glue. Let it dry before wearing.

7. Trim Excess Cord: Cut off any excess cord after the knot, but leave a small amount so the knot does not unravel.

8. Enjoy!: The bracelet is now ready to be worn or gifted! Enjoy the unique and personalized creation.
