Goal:
Try to grab other players’ capes while protecting your own!
Players:
6 or more kids
Best for outdoors or a large hall
Supplies Needed:
1 small “cape” for each player (Cut up the ribbon for this)
tuck the cape into the back of their waistband or shirt.
How to Play:
Set Up the Capes
Each player tucks their cape into the back of their pants/skirt or waistband — it must be clearly visible and easy to grab.
Start the Game
On “GO!”, players run around trying to catch (pull out) other players’ capes while protecting their own.
Out = Cape Caught
If your cape is pulled, you're out and must sit to the side — OR — run to a “power-up station” to complete a challenge (e.g. 5 star jumps) and return.
Last Hero Standing Wins!
The game continues until one player is left with a cape.
Variations:
Team Mode: Work in pairs and protect each other’s capes.
Timed Rounds: After 2–3 mins, stop and count who has the most capes collected.
