Objective:Teams try to steal “ore” (coloured blocks or beanbags) from other teams’ bases and bring them back to their own base without being tagged.
Setup:
Split players into two or more teams.
Each team has a base area (marked with cones or mats).
Place ore (coloured blocks, beanbags, or foam cubes) in each base — the same number for fairness.
Mark a safe zone around each base where only defenders can stand.
How to Play:
Each team sends players to try and steal ore from the other bases.
Players must run to an enemy base, grab one piece of ore, and return it to their own base.
If they are tagged while holding ore, they must drop it on the spot. The defending team can return it to their base.
Players cannot guard their ore by standing directly over it — defenders must move around and give attackers a chance.
No pushing, tackling, or rough play — tagging only.
Winning the Game:
After a set time (10–15 minutes), the team with the most ore collected wins.
For younger groups, play several short rounds. For older groups, you can make it elimination-style (if tagged, sit out until the round ends).
Variations:
Diamond Ore: Hide one special blue block worth extra points.
Team Ore Bank: Only one player per team can guard the ore.
Respawn Zone: If tagged, players must run back to their base and do 5 star jumps before rejoining the game.
