Carnival Masks

Supplies

• Pre-cut mask templates

• Scissors

• Hole punch

• Elastic string or ribbon

• Glue sticks

• Decorations:

  • Feathers

  • Sequins

  • Glitter

  • Pom poms

  • Coloured paper

  • Felt pens/markers/paint

Steps

1. Give each child a template.

   
   

2. Let children decorate their masks with feathers, sequins, glitter, and bright colours — encourage them to be bold and colourful like Rio Carnival!

3. Tie elastic string or ribbon through the side holes so the masks can be worn.

4. Once dry, children can wear their masks and parade to samba music.
