Supplies:
A container or bowl
Slips of paper with Christmas actions, characters, and items written on them
Timer (optional)
Steps:
Prepare the Charades Cards:
Write each Christmas-themed prompt on a slip of paper.
Fold and place them into the container.
Form Teams:
Split the group into 2–4 teams depending on size.
Each round, one player from the active team will act out a prompt.
Act It Out:
The player picks a slip of paper and acts out the word or phrase silently — no talking, no pointing to objects or people.
Their team has 30–60 seconds to guess.
Scoring:
If the team guesses correctly within the time limit, they earn 1 point.
If not, the other team may have 1 chance to steal the point (optional rule).
Winning:
Play until all prompts are used, or for a set number of rounds.
The team with the most points wins.
Other Information:
Encourage kids to use big actions and facial expressions.
If a child is shy, allow them to choose a partner to act with them.
Great as a warm-up game before crafts or lunch.
