Creeper tag

Objective: Children try to avoid being tagged by Creepers while rescuing frozen teammates.
Setup:
Mark out a safe play space in the gym with cones.
Choose 2–3 players (or staff) to start as Creepers.
All other players are Survivors.
How to Play:
Creepers chase Survivors around the play area.
If a Creeper tags a Survivor, that child must freeze on the spot with arms out like a statue.
To unfreeze a teammate, another Survivor must run up and perform a quick “crafting action” (e.g., 3 star jumps or clapping hands together three times).
Creepers cannot camp right next to frozen players — they must move on to chase others.
The game continues until most of the group has been frozen, then reset with new Creepers.
Variations:
Power-Ups: Scatter foam blocks or beanbags that players can collect for “swords.” If a Survivor is carrying one, they are safe from being tagged once.
Level Up: Add more Creepers as the game goes on.
Team Creepers: Have Creepers work together to trap Survivors.
End of Game:
Rotate Creeper roles often so everyone gets a turn.
Play 2–3 rounds, each lasting about 5–8 minutes.
