Supplies
A limbo stick (broom handle, pool noodle, or similar)
Two chairs or adult helpers to hold the stick
Music player with fun, upbeat songs
Steps
Set up the limbo stick horizontally using chairs or have two people hold it at shoulder height.
Start playing music — children take turns dancing their way under the stick without touching it or falling.
After each round, lower the stick slightly to increase the challenge.
Continue until only one dancer remains, or just keep playing for fun without eliminations.
Encourage all kinds of dance styles as they approach the limbo bar!
Other Information
Make sure the area is clear and safe to prevent trips or falls.
You can add themes to each round (e.g. “limbo like a robot,” “limbo with disco moves”).
For a non-competitive version, cheer everyone on and focus on silly moves and fun.
