Supplies
Clear plastic baubles (two halves that click together)
Paper + pencils for tracing templates
Colouring pencils/markers
Scissors
Small pom poms
Optional: glitter, sequins, ribbon, stickers
String or ribbon for hanging
Steps
Trace the Bauble Shape
Give each child one half of the clear bauble.
Place it on a piece of paper and trace around the edge to create a circle template.
Create the Artwork
Children use their template to draw a Christmas picture inside the circle ON BOTH SIDES (e.g., tree, star, snowman, Santa hat, gingerbread man).
Colour it in with markers or pencils.
Cut Out the Template
Carefully cut out the circle so it fits neatly inside the bauble.
Add Decorations
Place the artwork inside one half of the bauble.
Add a small handful of pom poms, sequins, or glitter (optional, and not too much so it still closes properly).
Assemble the Bauble
Line up the two halves and click them together securely.
Make sure no decorations are stuck in the edges before closing.
Attach the Hanger
Thread ribbon or string through the top loop and tie a knot.
Kids can hang it on the PKC Christmas tree to be taken home at the end of term
