DIY Disco Balls

Supplies

• Foam balls

• Self-adhesive mirror squares (or if not adhesive, will require glueing them on)

• Small screw-in hooks (one per ball)

• Twine, string, or ribbon for hanging

• Optional: extra decorations like glitter, stickers, or gems

Steps

1. Give each child a foam ball and a small hook.

2. Help them screw the hook into the top of the foam ball — this will be where the disco ball hangs from.

3. Peel and stick the mirror squares all around the foam ball, covering as much of the surface as possible.➤ Tip: Start at the top and work your way down in neat rows.

4. Once the ball is fully covered, cut a piece of twine or ribbon, thread it through the hook, and tie a loop for hanging.

5. If desired, add extra sparkle with glitter, sequins, or gems (just avoid covering the mirror tiles too much!).
