Supplies
A4 paper (any colour)
Glue stick or tape
Scissors
Hole punch (optional)
String, ribbon, or wool (approx. 60 cm per child)
Markers, stickers, or animal stamps for decoration
🐾 Steps
Roll two tubes
Take one A4 sheet and cut it in half lengthwise.
Roll each piece tightly from the short side into a tube and secure with tape or glue.
Join the tubes
Place the two paper tubes side by side (like binoculars) and tape or glue them together along the middle seam.
Add string
Hole punch one side of each tube near the top.
Tie a string through the holes to create a neck strap.(If no hole punch: tape the string securely to each side.)
Decorate
Use markers, animal stickers, or drawings to decorate the outside.
Encourage kids to write their name or pretend explorer ID on the side!
💡 Other Information
Fun to pair with scavenger hunts, jungle explorer games, or nature walks.
You can create "Explorer Checklists" to go with them!
Let kids roleplay as animal spotters, bird watchers, or jungle researchers.
