DIY Stickers (Tape Method)

Supplies:

  • White paper (or sticker paper if you have it)

  • Markers, coloured pencils, or pens

  • Scissors

  • Clear tape (wide packaging tape works best)

  • Baking paper or non-stick backing (optional for storage)

  • Glue stick (optional method)

  • Optional: printable templates or stencils

Instructions – Tape Method (Best for Young Kids):

  • Draw Your Designs:

    • On plain paper, draw small pictures, symbols, shapes, or words.

    • Colour them in with markers or coloured pencils.

  • Cut Out the Shapes:

    • Carefully cut around each drawing, leaving a small border.

  • Create the Sticker:

    • Tear off a piece of clear tape slightly longer than your design.

    • Stick the drawing face-up onto the sticky side of the tape.

  • Seal It:

    • Stick another piece of clear tape over the top (optional for extra durability).

    • Press down firmly to smooth out air bubbles.

  • Trim the Edges:

    • Cut neatly around the tape edges, leaving a small border to keep the seal intact.

  • Stick It or Store It:

    • Either peel and stick it straight away, or place it on baking paper for easy storage and future use.
