Supplies:
Plastic Easter eggs ("dragon eggs")
Small treats or tokens (optional to place inside eggs)
Baskets or bags for collecting
Setup:
Prepare the Eggs Use plastic eggs to represent dragon eggs.
Hide the EggsScatter the eggs around the play area — in bushes, behind furniture, under cones, etc. Vary the difficulty of hiding spots to suit the age range.
Set BoundariesClearly mark or explain where the hunt area begins and ends, especially if outdoors.
How to Play:
Gather the children and explain that a dragon has been flying over the kingdom and accidentally dropped its magical eggs all over the land.
Their royal mission: Find as many dragon eggs as possible before the dragon comes back!
Hand out baskets or bags and send them off on the hunt.
Once all eggs are found, gather the group and count their treasures.➤ Optional: Reveal which colour egg belongs to which type of dragon (e.g., red = fire dragon, blue = ice dragon).
Optional Variations:
Team Challenge: Assign teams to find certain colours only.
Golden Egg Bonus: Hide one special egg for a fun surprise or prize.
Egg Exchange: Let kids trade their eggs in for a prize or activity token.
