Dragon Tag

Supplies

  • Cones (to mark boundaries)

  • Open play space (hall, field or playground)


Steps

1️⃣ Set Up the Playing Area

  • Use cones to mark clear boundaries.

  • Explain that everyone must stay inside the “Dragon Kingdom.”

2️⃣ Choose the Dragons

  • Select 1–2 children to start as Dragons (depending on group size).


3️⃣ Explain the Rules

  • The Dragons try to tag other players.

  • When a player is tagged, they become a “Baby Dragon.”

  • Baby Dragons join hands behind the original Dragon to form a growing dragon tail.


4️⃣ How to Tag

  • Only the front Dragon can tag players.

  • The tail must stay connected at all times.

  • If the tail breaks, the Dragon must freeze for 5 seconds before continuing.


5️⃣ Winning the Game

  • The game ends when everyone becomes part of the dragon.OR

  • After a set time (5–10 minutes), choose a new Dragon and restart.
