What You Need:
Spoons (wooden or large plastic work best)
Plastic Easter eggs or ping pong balls (decorate them as dino eggs if you like!)
Cones or tape to mark the start and finish lines
Optional: dinosaur-themed stickers or mini prizes
How to Play:
Set Up the Racecourse:
Create a straight line or zigzag path using cones or markers.
Designate a start and finish line.
Hand Out Supplies:
Give each child a spoon and one "dino egg" to balance on it.
Race Time!
On “Go!”, players walk or run to the finish line without dropping their egg.
If the egg drops, the player must stop, place it back on the spoon, and continue from the same spot.
Winning:
First to cross the finish line with their egg still on the spoon wins.
Play multiple rounds or race in heats if you have a large group.
Variations:
Relay Style: Divide into teams and pass the spoon at each end.
Obstacle Dash: Add hurdles, tunnels, or lava zones (cones or hula hoops) for a more challenging course.
Hands-Free: Try playing with one hand behind the back for older kids.
