fingerprint rainbow and pot of gold craft

Materials:

• White paper or cardstock

• Washable paint in various rainbow colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)

• Black paint or marker

• Glue

• Scissors

• Gold glitter or gold paper

• Pencil or pen

Instructions:

1. Take a white piece of paper or cardstock as your base.

2. Start with the red paint. Dip your fingertip into the red paint and make a fingerprint arc shape near the top of the paper. Repeat this process with the other rainbow colors, making arcs in the following order: orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Allow the paint to dry.

3. Once the paint is dry, use a black paint or marker to draw a small pot shape at the bottom of the rainbow.

4. Cut out a small strip of gold glitter or gold paper and shape it into a "U" to represent the pot's handle. Glue the ends of the strip onto the sides of the pot.

5. Dip your fingertip into the black paint or marker and make fingerprint dots inside the pot to represent coins.

6. Allow the paint to dry completely.

7. With a pencil or pen, you can add additional details such as a St. Patrick's Day message or decorations around the rainbow and pot if desired.

8. Your fingerprint rainbow and pot of gold craft is complete! You can display it as is or frame it for decoration.
