Fire Breathing Cup Dragons

Supplies

  • Paper cups (red or green work best)

  • Red, orange & yellow tissue paper

  • Glue sticks

  • Googly eyes

  • Markers

  • Red card for horns

  • Scissors


Steps

  1. Cut a hole in the bottom of the cup (for the kids to breathe into)

  2. Cut long strips of red, orange and yellow tissue paper.

  3. Glue tissue strips inside the rim of the cup (this becomes the “fire”).

  4. Glue on googly eyes near the base.

  5. Draw scales, nostrils and details with markers.

  6. Cut and glue small horns from red card.

  7. When dry, children hold the cup and blow through the top to make the fire move!
