Foam Character Pencil Toppers

Supplies

• EVA foam sheets (various colours)

• Craft sticks or pipe cleaners

• Googly eyes

• Glue sticks or PVA glue

• Scissors

• Pencils

• Optional: markers, stickers, glitter foam

Steps

1. Design the Topper

2. Children choose a simple design:

   • Monster

   • Animal face

   • Emoji

   • Star or heart character

3. Cut the FoamCut out two identical foam shapes (front and back).

4. Decorate the FrontAdd eyes, draw faces, or stick on details before assembling.

5. Attach the HolderPlace a short craft stick or folded pipe cleaner between the two foam shapes (this will grip the pencil).

6. Glue TogetherGlue around the edges and press firmly.Leave the bottom slightly open so it can slide onto the pencil.

7. Attach to PencilOnce dry, slide the topper onto the top of the pencil.
