"Guess that Pokémon" riddles

How to Play:
Read Aloud or Distribute:
You can either hand out a copy of the riddles to each child or read them aloud one at a time to the group.
Answer Individually or in Teams:
Kids can guess the answers individually, or work in small groups to figure out each riddle.
Encourage discussion and reasoning (e.g. “It says thunderbolt tail – must be Pikachu!”).
Write or Call Out Answers:
Children write their guesses, or raise their hands and shout out answers in turn.
Reveal the Answers:
After all riddles are read, go through them again and reveal the correct Pokémon.
Use the full version of the PDF with answers, or keep it hidden for a challenge!
Scoring (Optional):
Give 1 point per correct answer. Offer small prizes or certificates for fun.
Bonus Round (Optional):
Have the kids make their own riddles for a new Pokémon and challenge their friends!
