How to Organise a Lego Building Competition

Supplies Needed:
1. Assorted Lego Bricks
2. Timers or Stopwatch
3. Tables or Flat Surfaces for Building
4. Score Cards for Judges
Instructions:
1. Set Up Building Stations: Set up individual building stations for each participant with an assortment of Lego bricks.
2. Explain the Rules: Ensure all participants understand the rules of the competition. This could include time limits, building criteria, and judging criteria.
3. Start the Competition: Announce the theme or object they should build. Start the timer.
4. Monitor Progress: Monitor the participants' progress, ensuring fair play and offering encouragement.
5. Time's Up: When the time is up, ask everyone to step away from their creations.
6. Judging: Judge the creations based on creativity, adherence to the theme, and complexity. You can ask other staff members, or even the children themselves, to participate in the judging.
7. Announce Winners: After all the creations have been judged, announce the winners. Ensure to celebrate everyone's effort.
