How to Play 21 Questions with Children

Supplies Needed:

1. A list of categories or subjects (see below for ideas)

2. Paper and pencil (optional)

Instructions:

1. Choose a Player: Start by deciding who will go first. This player will think of something from one of the categories.

2. Start the Questions: The other players take turns asking yes-or-no questions to try and figure out what the first player is thinking of. The player can only answer "yes", "no", or "sometimes".

3. Count the Questions: Keep track of the number of questions that have been asked. The game continues until 21 questions have been asked or until someone guesses correctly.

4. Switch Turns: After 21 questions or a correct guess, the next player thinks of something and the game continues.
