Invisible Ink Craft

Supplies:
Lemon juice or milk
Cotton buds (or thin paintbrushes/toothpicks)
White paper
Small bowl or cup for the liquid
Lamp, hair dryer, or iron (adult use only)
Optional: fine-tipped pen to decorate or label their secret message
Steps:
Prepare the InkPour a small amount of lemon juice or milk into a cup or bowl. This will be the invisible “ink.”
Write the Secret MessageDip a cotton bud or paintbrush into the liquid and write a message or draw a symbol on the white paper.
Let It DryAllow the paper to dry completely. Once dry, the message will disappear!
Reveal the MagicTo reveal the invisible writing, gently heat the paper using:
A lamp (placed close, but not touching)
A warm iron (with adult help)
A hair dryer on high heatAs it warms, the writing will turn brown and appear on the page!
Optional DecorationKids can decorate the corners or write a magic-themed title like “TOP SECRET,” “Wizard Message,” or “Code of Shadows.”
