Supplies
Open space (hall or playground)
Scarves, fabric strips, or soft bands for tying legs together (for 3-legged style)
Optional: cones or markers to set up a race course
Steps
Split children into pairs.
One is the “llama,” the other is the “herder.”
Tie their legs together (3-legged race style)
Line pairs up at the starting line.
On “Go!”, pairs must race to the finish line while staying in sync.
The “herder” can call out or guide the llama.
If a pair falls, they must get back up before continuing.
First pair across the finish line wins.
Play multiple rounds, swapping roles so everyone gets to be the llama and the herder.
Note: Try to use something soft with some stretch to tie legs together
