Ocean Trivia

Supplies:

  • Printed trivia questions (or read aloud from a list)

  • Whiteboards, paper, or buzzers for team answers

  • Score sheet and pen

  • Optional: projector or tablet to display questions


Steps:

  1. Divide the children into small teams or let them play individually.

  2. Explain that you’ll ask a range of ocean-themed questions — some easy, some tricky!

  3. Read each question aloud and allow time to discuss answers.

  4. Teams write or call out their answers.

  5. Award points for each correct response.

  6. Continue through all questions or choose a set number of rounds.

  7. Celebrate all participants at the end — perhaps with a “Best Marine Mind” award or stickers!
