Title: How to Play Paper Scissors Rock Race
Supplies Needed:
1. Open space
2. Cones or markers to set the start and finish line
Instructions:
1. Set the Course: Set up a straight course with a starting line and a finish line. The length of the course can be adapted based on the ages and abilities of the players.
2. Form Teams: Divide the group into two teams. Each team forms a line at the starting point.
3. Explain the Rules: Two players, one from each team, will compete in a round of paper, scissors, rock. The winner of the round gets to advance along the course.
4. Start the Race: The first two players compete. The player who wins the round of paper, scissors, rock moves forward to a designated point on the course, while the loser stays put.
5. Continue the Race: The next players in line then step forward and compete. If a player wins a round, they move to where their teammate has advanced and the next player takes their turn. If a player loses, they stay put and the next player in line takes their turn.
6. Winning the Game: The first team to get one of their members to the finish line wins the game.
This game requires strategy and quick decision-making, in addition to a bit of luck. Be sure to supervise the children to ensure the game is played fairly and safely.
