Pokemon Puppets

Supplies:

  • Printed Pokémon characters (or kids can draw their own)

  • Scissors

  • Glue sticks or tape

  • Popsicle sticks or drinking straws

  • Optional: googly eyes, glitter, coloured paper for backgrounds

Steps:

  1. Choose Your Pokémon:Give each child 2–4 Pokémon pictures to colour, cut out, or decorate.

  2. Cut Them Out:Carefully cut around each Pokémon character.

  3. Mount on a Stick:Glue or tape each Pokémon to a popsicle stick or straw to make a puppet.

  4. Let’s Play!Use them to:

    • Act out battles or stories

    • Create a puppet theatre show

    • Roleplay as Trainers catching and releasing Pokémon

    • Line up and introduce their Pokémon team to the group
