Supplies:
Coloured bibs, hats, or badges to identify Trainers (2–4 depending on group size)
Open space like a hall, gym, or field
Optional: Music or sound effects for added excitement
Setup:
Choose 2–4 children to be Trainers.
The rest of the children are Wild Pokémon.
Define the play area boundaries clearly.
How to Play:
Trainers must chase and tag Wild Pokémon.
When a Wild Pokémon is tagged, they must freeze in place—they've been “caught!”
Another Wild Pokémon can “rescue” them by crawling under their legs or tapping them gently and saying, “I choose you!”
Play until all Pokémon are caught, or rotate Trainers every few minutes.
Variations:
Add music and pause it randomly. When it stops, all Pokémon must freeze.
Give each Pokémon “type cards” (Fire, Water, Grass), and Trainers can only tag specific types each round.
