Supplies:
Small jars or plastic bottles
Water
Food colouring
Glitter
Sequins, beads, googly eyes, buttons (small magical "ingredients")
Small funnels or cups for pouring
Optional: cotton balls, oil, clear glue, or dish soap (for layered or slow-moving effects)
Stickers or paper for labels
Tape or string (for sealing and decorating)
Steps:
Fill the Bottle Fill each jar or bottle about ¾ full with water. You can also mix in some oil or clear glue for a thicker, slower-motion potion.
Add the Magic Let children choose their own “ingredients”: glitter, beads, sequins, coloured water, or small craft bits.
Colour Your Potion Add 1–2 drops of food colouring for dramatic effect. You can stir gently or leave it layered.
Seal It Up Secure the lid tightly. If you want to prevent leaks, tape around the top or seal with hot glue (optional).
Label Your Potion Create and decorate fun labels with names like “Dragon Breath,” “Invisibility Elixir,” or “Unicorn Tears.”
Shake & Swirl Kids can swirl, shake, or turn their bottles to watch their potion move and shimmer!
