Rama and Sita Quest

Supplies:
Cones or markers (to create stations)
Rope or chalk (for marking boundaries)
Props (optional: paper crown, toy bow, scarf, or cardboard sword)
Small tokens or paper hearts (to represent Sita)
Steps:
Set up an obstacle course to represent the journey of Rama to rescue Sita.
Station 1: The Forest – weave between cones or chairs.
Station 2: The Bridge – balance along a rope or plank.
Station 3: The Battle – toss beanbags to knock down cardboard villains.
Station 4: The Rescue – collect a token or paper heart representing Sita.
Station 5: Return Home – race back to the start.
Children complete the quest one at a time or in teams, cheering each other on.
Time each participant or team and see who completes it fastest.
Encourage teamwork and storytelling as they go – narrate the adventure aloud to keep it engaging.
Other Information:
Can be played indoors or outdoors.
Adapt the difficulty for different age groups.
Emphasise the story’s theme of courage, kindness, and helping others.
