Supplies:
White balloons (1 per snowman)
Flour (approx. 1 cup per balloon)
Funnel (or make one from paper)
Spoon
Permanent markers (black, orange, colours)
Googly eyes (optional)
Glue (for eyes if used)
Optional: coloured balloons or felt scraps for hats/scarves
Steps:
Stretch the Balloon:
Blow up the white balloon and let the air out again. This makes it easier to fill.
Fill with Flour:
Insert the funnel into the neck of the balloon.
Spoon flour in until the balloon is full but still squishy (about ¾ full).
Remove funnel and gently squeeze out any extra air.
Tie a knot in the balloon tightly.
Add the Snowman Face:
Use markers to draw eyes, a carrot nose, a smile, and buttons.
Stick on googly eyes if using glue (PVA or hot glue if supervised).
Optional: draw or glue on a scarf or earmuffs.
Top it Off:
Tie or glue on another balloon or felt piece to make a beanie or hat.
Kids can also add little name tags to personalise their snowman.
