Supplies:
Dark blue or black A4 paper (for the night sky)
White paint (poster or acrylic)
Fork (plastic or metal)
Brown and orange paper (for tree branch and beak)
Googly eyes or yellow/white paper circles for eyes
Glue stick or PVA glue
Scissors
Optional: cotton balls or white crayons for extra snow effects
Steps:
Create the Branch:
Cut a thick, curved branch shape out of brown paper.
Glue it near the bottom of your dark background paper.
Paint the Owl’s Body:
Dip the back side (prongs) of a fork into white paint.
Starting in the middle of your page (just above the branch), press and drag the fork outward repeatedly to build the owl’s fluffy body shape.
Continue in layers, working outward and upward to make it round and feathery.
Use small fork strokes for the head and longer ones for the body.
Add the Face:
Cut out two white or yellow paper circles and draw smaller black circles in the centre (or use googly eyes). Glue them to the top centre of the owl body.
Cut a small triangle from orange paper and glue it just below the eyes for the beak.
Feet (Optional):
Use black or brown paper to make small claws or use a marker to draw feet sitting on the branch.
Add Snow:
Use white paint or a white crayon to add falling snowflakes and dots all around the background.
You can also stretch out cotton balls and glue bits around the edges for a snowy texture.
