Survivor Torch Craft

Supplies

• A4 paper (Black)

• Orange, red and yellow tissue paper (or coloured paper)

• Glue sticks or PVA glue

• Scissors

• Markers or crayons (optional)

Steps

1. Make the torch handleRoll one A4 sheet tightly from one corner to form a long tube.Glue or tape the edge to secure the tube.

2. Decorate the handleChildren can colour the tube or draw patterns to make it look like a wooden torch.

3. Create the flameTear or cut tissue paper into flame shapes or long strips using red, orange and yellow.

4. Add the flame to the torchScrunch the tissue paper slightly and glue it into the wider end of the paper tube so it sticks out like a flame.

5. Let it dryPlace torches upright to dry before carrying or displaying.
