Supplies
A4 or A3 coloured paper (red, black, or bright colours work well)
Popsicle sticks or bamboo skewers (for handles)
Glue or tape
Scissors
Lace, ribbon, or fabric scraps (optional for decoration)
Sequins, glitter, or stickers (optional)
Steps
Give each child a piece of coloured paper.
Show them how to fold it accordion-style (back and forth, 2–3 cm folds).
Once folded, crease firmly, then fold in half to create a fan shape.
Glue or tape the bottom edges together so the fan holds its semi-circle shape.
Attach a popsicle stick or bamboo skewer to each end as handles.
Decorate the fan with lace, ribbon, sequins, or glitter to make it elegant like a tango dancer’s fan.
Once dry, children can use their fans in a mini tango parade or performance.
