Supplies:
White paper or card
Paints or markers (black + bright colours for trunks)
Tissue paper in bright colours (yellow, pink, red, orange, etc.)
Glue sticks or PVA glue
Scissors
Steps:
On the paper, draw and colour tall tree trunks with bright stripes (alternate a colour with black to get the classic Dr Seuss look).
Cut tissue paper into squares (about 10–15cm across).
Scrunch each square into a loose ball to make a fluffy pom-pom.
Glue a pom-pom at the top of each trunk to form the Truffula Tree top.
Let dry before displaying.
Other Information:
You can swap tissue paper for cotton balls dyed with food colouring.
Works well as a group mural if you tape lots of trees together on a wall.
