Calm Shell Cookies


Supplies / Ingredients:

  • Round vanilla biscuits (e.g. Superwine, Marie, or similar)

  • Buttercream icing (store-bought or homemade)

  • Food colouring (pink, purple, or blue works best)

  • Mini white marshmallows or pearl lollies (for the “pearls”)

  • Butter knife or icing spatula

Steps:

  1. Mix your icing and add a few drops of food colouring to create your chosen shell colour.

  2. Spread a small amount of coloured icing on top of one biscuit.

  3. Place a mini marshmallow or pearl lolly in the middle — this will be the “pearl.”

  4. Gently press another biscuit on top at a slight angle, so it looks like a clam shell opening.

  5. Let the icing set slightly before serving.

  6. Optional: add a light dusting of edible glitter or sanding sugar for sparkle!
