What You Need:
Chairs (one fewer than the number of players)
Open space for a circle
Optional: fruit name cards for visual learners
✅ Set-Up:
Arrange chairs in a circle, all facing inward.
Choose one player to stand in the middle — they will be the caller.
All other players sit on a chair. There should be one empty chair.
🍌 How to Play:
Assign each child a fruit name — choose 2–4 fruits depending on the size of the group. For example:
Apple 🍎
Banana 🍌
Grape 🍇
Orange 🍊
The player in the middle calls out one fruit name — e.g. “Banana!”
Everyone assigned “Banana” must jump up and quickly find a new seat.
The middle player also tries to sit in an empty chair.
Whoever is left standing becomes the new caller in the middle.
If the caller says “Fruit Salad!”, everyone must get up and find a new seat.
📝 Tips:
Players can’t return to the same chair they just left.
Keep the pace fast to make it exciting!
Encourage safe movement (no pushing or shoving).
