Supplies Needed:
1. 2 cups of All-Purpose Flour
2. 1 cup of Salt
3. 1 cup of Water
4. 1 tablespoon of Vegetable Oil
5. Food Coloring (optional)
6. Mixing Bowl
7. Mixing Spoon
Instructions:
1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In your mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Stir until well mixed.
2. Add Wet Ingredients: Slowly add in the water and vegetable oil to the dry mixture. Stir as you pour to combine the ingredients.
3. Mix the Dough: Continue to stir the mixture until it forms a dough. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more water. If it's too wet, add a bit more flour.
4. Knead the Dough: Once the dough has formed, remove it from the bowl and knead it on a clean surface for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and stretchy.
5. Add Color (optional): If you want to add color, divide the dough into separate balls for each color. Make a well in the center of each ball and drop in a few drops of food coloring. Fold the dough over and knead it until the color is evenly distributed. (Wear gloves to avoid staining your hands)
6. Play and Store: The playdough is now ready for use! After playtime, store the playdough in an airtight container or sealed plastic bag to keep it fresh.
Note: Always supervise children during the process to ensure safety. The playdough is not edible, despite being made from food-safe ingredients.ensure safety.
