Lemonade scones

Supplies/Ingredients:
4 cups self-raising flour
300 ml (1 can) lemonade (not diet)
300 ml cream (plus extra for brushing tops)
Pinch of salt
Steps:
Preheat Oven
Heat oven to 220°C (fan bake 200°C). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, add flour and salt.
Pour in lemonade and cream.
Stir gently with a butter knife until just combined (don’t overmix).
Shape Dough
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface.
Gently press into a rectangle about 2 cm thick.
Cut Scones
Use a round cutter or a glass to cut out scones.
Place them close together on the baking tray.
Glaze
Brush the tops with a little extra cream.
Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes until risen and golden brown.
Serve
Enjoy warm with butter, jam, and cream!
