Supplies

• Music player with fun, upbeat songs

• Open space for dancing (indoor or outdoor)

Steps

1. Have all the children spread out in a clear, open space.

2. Start playing music and encourage everyone to dance however they like.

3. Randomly pause the music — when it stops, everyone must freeze like a statue.

4. Anyone caught moving is out (optional), or just have them do a silly challenge like a spin or animal noise before rejoining.

5. Restart the music and repeat for as long as interest holds.

• This game is great for energy release, self-regulation, and rhythm.

• Add fun challenges like “Freeze in a superhero pose!” or “Freeze like your favourite animal!”
