Pink Heart Crispy Cake Pops Recipe

Servings: 8 crispy pops


Equipment

  • Weighing scales

  • Saucepan

  • Silicone spatula

  • Medium roasting pan 35x25cm (14x10")

  • Pack of cake pop sticks

  • Heart cookie cutter


Ingredients

  • 50 g salted butter plus a little for greasing your dish

  • 350 g marshmallows

  • 200 g rice crispies

  • 5 drops red food colouring


Instructions

  • Melt the butter over a low heat, then stir in the marshmallows until fully melted.

  • Take off the heat and stir in the food colouring.

  • Stir in the rice crispies until well combined.

  • Press into the greased tray and pack down well (if your hands keep sticking, try rubbing some butter on them).

  • When completely cool, cut out the heart shapes - cut them as close together as you can to maximise space (you can of course eat the offcuts too!)

  • Push a pop stick into each one and you're done!
