Reindeer Brownies

Supplies:
For the Brownies:
150g butter
150g dark chocolate (or chocolate melts)
3 eggs
250g caster sugar
75g plain flour
30g cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
Pinch of salt
For Decorating:
Pretzels (for antlers)
Red or brown M&Ms/Smarties (for noses)
Candy eyes (or pipe white icing dots + choc chip pupils)
Optional: extra chocolate for drizzling
Baking paper
Baking tin (approx. 20cm square)
Steps:
Prep & preheat:Preheat oven to 170°C. Line a baking tin with baking paper.
Melt chocolate & butter:In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate together in short bursts (20–30 seconds), stirring until smooth.Set aside to cool slightly.
Mix eggs & sugar:In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla until well combined and slightly pale.
Combine mixtures:Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and gently whisk until smooth.
Add dry ingredients:Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.Fold gently with a spatula until just combined — do not overmix.
Bake:Pour the batter into the lined tin and spread evenly.Bake for 20–25 minutes until the top is set but the centre is still slightly fudgy.Allow brownies to cool completely before decorating.
Cut & decorate:
Cut brownies into squares or triangles.
Add pretzels at the top for antlers.
Glue on candy eyes using a dot of icing or melted chocolate.
Add an M&M nose (red for Rudolph!).
Let set:Allow decorations to set for a few minutes so the chocolate hardens.
